Position Title: Specialist Engineer
Division: Vehicle Engineering
Location: Gaydon

Position Description:
* Working within the Electrical Electronic and Software Engineering -In Vehicle Infotainment HW team.
* Reflashing head units for Prototype builds and to support local fleet updates. Repair / maintenance support for reflash rigs in Solihull, Halewood and CB.
* SW updates for Performing software updates on Infotainment Head Units, both on test rigs and in vehicles.
* Ensuring the correct software is downloaded to each part or vehicle.
* Creating thorough traceability documentation and metrics.

Skills Required:
3 Key Skills:
1) Good Understanding of electronics and ability to rework Connectors and PCBs Mobile and able to work across all UK sites
2) A logical organised thinker, with an eye for detail and an ability to follow detailed work instructions. Able to diagnose electronic ccts to PCB level. Works with minimal supervision

Experience Required:
* Recognised qualification in electronics Faulty finding and repair of electronics to PCB level Prototype wiring for industrial applications
* Ability to deliver in a high pressure environment
* Must have a driving licence and be able to support reflash activities at all facilities.
* Very good organisational skills
* Experience of using Linux in a test environment
