The Role:
Position Description:

"The UX designer will be based in the Future infotainment team within VE, working closely with design and the core delivery team. The role will be to deliver initial UX designs for future infotainment platforms. This will be working on improving existing features and developing the UX for all new infotainment features. This UX design role will initially cover In Vehicle Infotainment touch screen, but will grow to cover off board applications (in control remote and other off board apps), IVI controlled features in the cluster and HUD, and ultimately the whole digital HMI experience. "

3 Key Skills:

1) Experience of HMI technology development, delivery or testing
2) Experience of working in a fast paced industry (e.g consumer electronics, automotive technology development)
3) An understanding of infotainment (or CE device) user interface design

Experience Preferred:
"Experience of multi site, multi company projects. An understanding of infotainment user interface design. Experience of UX development tools. Experience of working with external suppliers. Ability to communicate and present UX development status"

Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
