The Role:

Position Description:
"The Vehicle Coordinator is responsible for ensuring completion of Virtual Series activities, usually on a single model line or model year programme. The Virtual Vehicle Coordinator is key to leading the delivery of an efficient Virtual Lifecycle process. Main activities will be: Planning and facilitaing key programme Virtual Series events. Management and reporting of Virtual KPI metrics directing engineering teams to interpret and action metrics. Identify and pilot process improvements to maintain efficient delivery of the Virtual Lifecycle. Ensuring Virtual Series Processes are undertaken consistently on programmes along with fellow VVCs to maintain correct delivery practice."

Skills Required:
3 Key Skills: 1) Expediting successful delivery of required tasks through assertiveness, strong interpersonal skills, and negotiation with a wide range of engineering functions. 2) Knowledge of automotive technical issues resolution including a range of CAD, BOM, CAE, and other virtual assessment processes, methods and tools 3) " Understanding of product development systems including: design, testing and requirements, attribute delivery, releasing etc. is also required "

Experience Required:
"The candidate should have good experience in collaborative working and organisation. Experience of project planning and delivery preferably within engineering sector. "

Experience Preferred:
"Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in an enineering discipline. Would consider others for the correct skill set and experience. "
