The Role:
An exciting opportunity to join a growing, experienced team of Vehicle Integration Engineers responsible for driving the development of key attributes through virtual & physical sign off, from concept to production. It's a varied and fast-paced role in which the successful applicant will gain experience of the whole-vehicle development process, from the virtual world of CAE build and simulation to the physical world of prototype vehicle assembly, test and target confirmation. Applicants must be highly motivated and proactive to ensure they can work across the wider engineering community to develop robust solutions to complex technical issues against tight deadlines, with minimal supervision. It's a role which will suit applicants with a passion for vehicles and a determination to demonstrate their ability. Good interpersonal skills and concise written and verbal communication are essential."

3 KEY SKILLS
Proven ability to meet deadlines and targets
Proven track record of resolving Engineering issues
Good knowledge of vehicle systems & layouts - Driving license eligible in the UK (test fleet support)

Experience Required: Engineering Degree or equivalent - Organised - Highly driven, self motivated - Good interpersonal & communication skills (written & verbal) - Good computer literacy in the main Microsoft packages"

Experience Preferred: Hands on' mechanical engineering experience - CAD / CAE knowledge or experience - Vehicle Integration experience; attribute target setting and delivery, virtual vehicle development or engineering fleet management - Knowledge of process & toolset, PCDS, AIMS, RMDV2, 3D Live, Catia, etc"

Additional Information : Predominantly based at Gaydon, the role may require travel to Whitley, Solihull & other UK sites following the demand of the programme. Insurance requires the appropriate driving license eligible within the UK - any applicant with points on their license must bring forward this information as part of their application for insurance purposes.
