The Role:
Your role will be based within the Business Management team for Special Vehicle Operations, the division responsible for rolling out innovative, unique and luxurious products. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with a strategic, methodical and creative mind-set to 'make your mark' within a very specialist automotive division. Your role will involve putting together a strategic 'from scratch' plan for the roll out of new niche products. This will involve drawing on your Engineering and/or industry-specific knowledge to put together schedules, use market research about competitors and anticipate challenges. You will then be working closely with the Programme Planners, who will ensure the project is delivered appropriately.

Suitable applicants for this role must be able to attend a Recruitment Day on the 16th October, where you will have the chance to meet key decision-makers in the company and have a same-day face to face interview.

Skills:
- Engineering background or ability to understand engineering principles.
- understanding of vehicle systems and interactions
- organised and logical approach.
- ability to represent SVO/VP in various senior forums.

Essential Experience:
- experience of Vehicle System Strategy and PCDS (Product Creation Deliver System) process

Desirable Experience:
- an appreciation of the SVO/VP business, the products we produce and how they're differentiated from the core products
- Good product and brand knowledge including competitors and an awareness of global industry trends
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering or programme planning role

Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
