The Role:
Job Purpose :
- Responsible for design, implementation, communication and coordination of all Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental programs for the division.
- This position will develop and provide technical and administrative direction on all QHSE decisions, which bear critical importance to overall division objectives, operations and profitability.
- To continually maintain an appropriate level of QHSE awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the division that creates a culture that prioritizes effective QHSE and balances overall associated costs.
- Decisions making and implement HSE & QA annual plans.
- Managing emergency or crisis and implement investigation recommendations and audit findings.
- Devise and strategies QHSE that will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote HSE consciousness in OBU.
- Promote and model leadership QHSE and ensure activities are conducted in a manner consistent with company critical success factors and stay abreast of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of QHSE.
- Familiar with working relationship with Government authorities & agencies, DOSH, DOE, Marine Dept, NSC, PETRONAS, other Oil & Gas players, and other shipyards.
- Skills in HSE MS & ISO 9001:2008, Risk Management, Process Safety Management, Crisis Management, Incident Investigation, Accredited Auditor HSE & ISO

- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, or related technical field.
- Marine Deck or Engine certificate of competence Class One only
- Minimum 10 years in upstream and FPSO project management with good knowledge on operations & QHSE
- Advanced knowledge of Oil & Gas industry practices, regulatory agency requirements and industry standard.
