The Role:
Head BD Americas (General Manager level) - reporting to Regional Director Americas
* Position to be based either in Houston or Rio.
* IOC customers are mainly located in Houston + locally (Mexico and Brazil). Scope will cover BD for Africa in the interim period prior to an organization for Africa and ROW (clients are based in Europe or Houston + local presence). Scope will cover also the Manager Houston position at the beginning.

 Oversee and manage business development, marketing and sales worldwide including tendering and contract management.
 Oversee and manage current and prospective Clients' business requirements for any floater solutions worldwide to ensure OBU's sustainable business growth and maximize Company's profitability.
 Oversee and manage the relationship building process in pursuing and securing prospective jobs to support OBU growth agenda.
 Optimize internal resources to ensure Business Development's objectives and KPIs are met.
 Provide strategic direction in business development and marketing plans to secure new businesses worldwide by identifying sound business models and overall contracting strategies for potential projects identified.
 Identify potential partners, develop and lead strategic alliances and business acquisition potentials to meet and enhance OBU's business and capability requirements, and negotiate applicable agreements in accordance with OBU's procedures
 Lead and drive the overall business development at senior management level in both internal and external engagement to ensure sustainability in OBU's growth and Company's profitability.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 15 - 25 years relevant experience in the execution of major Offshore Oil & Gas EPC projects.

 Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline.
 MBA or related professional qualification is an additional advantage.
 Ideally hold or working towards membership of an appropriate professional body.
