The Role:
Strategize and innovate the best engineering solutions and ensure, compliance, competitive and safe engineering proposal throughout asset life.
Strategize and control development of new technology and accelerate the uptake of smart engineering solutions to demonstrate its capability to customers and open new market segment.
Strategize and control engineering deliverables e.g. SOW, engineering long lead equipment package, MOC, etc. to ensure engineering risks are managed effectively, quality and integrity for project deliverable and safe asset operations.
Strategize and control superior engineering deliverables by SMEs to maximize its roles in large, complex JV projects and compete internationally.
Strategize and control engineering deliverables to ensure they are conformed to statutory regulatory requirement and other requirements (e.g. client and corporate requirement, etc.)
Lead the development of conceptual design to ensure availability of creative and innovative solutions to support the project bidding proposal for all prospective floater new projects.
Lead, direct and guide the development of floater's scope and functional specification for vendors / Shipyard based on the supplied pre-award document.
Lead and drive the delivery of cost-effective engineering solutions which maximise asset life, minimise production downtime and improve production throughput across all existing operational assets.
Lead, direct and guide the review of Client's ITBs and design specifications to develop scope of work for long lead and/or specialist equipment tender packages to support the sourcing and contracting strategies and procurement.
Lead, direct and provide proactive support to expedite delivery of Long Lead Equipment (LLE) and ensure compliance with FEED and Classification Society's requirements in accordance with construction/supply schedule.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
At least 20 years of working experience in Engineering for Offshore Oil and Gas projects including Concept Engineering, Front End Engineering, Management of Critical and Long Lead Equipment, Failure Investigation with minimum 5 years of experience in senior managerial position within the offshore oil and gas industry.
Knowledge of concepts, principles and practices in offshore and heavy engineering project value chain, in particular the management of EPCIC project (engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning) including contracting strategy for floating production systems e.g. FSO, FPSO.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering discipline e.g. Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Offshore Engineering.
