The Role:
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead development of engineering deliverables and schedule for Hull Structure System in Technology Group to ensure safe, fit-for-purpose, robust and cost-effective floaters design and operation.
Lead the development of Hull Structure design and operation philosophy, basis of design, functional specification and SOW (inclusive of its sub-section) for MSQ / RFQ of marine engineering services.
Lead the execution of all engineering deliverables planned by line Manager.

JOB PURPOSE
Lead Concept Selection Study, Engineering Definition deliverables and FEED deliverables throughout all phases of engineering.
Lead preparation of MDR, calculation report, engineering analysis, engineering drawings and equipment/packages specification at conceptual, Engineering Definition and FEED level.
Provide technical support / services in candidate vessel RLEC inspection, assessment and selection.
Review FEED and DDE deliverables by sub-contractors and revert comments as per OBU Management Standards.
Identify design changes in FEED and DDE deliverables by sub-contractors and provide input to Manager.
Plan continuous development for technical and leadership capability to support Company Vision and Mission.
Carryout documentation and data management as per OBU Management Standards for Hull Structure deliverables.

Financial Exposure ≥ 10 Million USD

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
COMPETENCIES:
Highly competent in engineering management with further benefits of floaters associated design.
Knowledgeable in associated engineering discipline design tools, codes and standards.
Able to address design risk and shortfall.

EXPERIENCE:
At least 10 years of work experience in O&G sector as discipline engineer.
Minimum 2 years of experience in EPCC project for specific engineering discipline role.
Experience in floaters type design aspect is preferred (Conceptual Study, FEED and DDE).

QUALIFICATION:
Relevant recognized qualifications - Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Structure, Marine or other related engineering) discipline.
Preference: Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate / Registered with relevant professional body.
