The Role:
DIVISION: Legal, Corporate Secretarial And Compliance
DEPARTMENT: Compliance
REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Compliance


  • Develop the Compliance Management Framework (CMF) which includes strategic mapping of governance and policies matters within the Group's Compliance Universe and operationalisation of the CMF, ensuring proper identification of ownership of compliance risks, providing recommendations on compliance controls, corrective action plans, continuous update and monitoring of the Group's compliance landscape
  • Coordinate compliance risk management activities in providing reasonable assurance Management that the Group's operations and activities are conducted in line with all regulatory requirements, internal policies & procedures and standards of good business practice.

Develop Compliance Monitoring and Assurance Programs
▪ Conduct research on emerging issues and best practices in respect of compliance monitoring and assurance programs to ensure Group's operations and activities are conducted in line with all regulatory requirements, internal policies & procedures and standards of good business practice.
▪ Propose new procedures, guidelines and appropriate monitoring and assurance programs to address risk concerns and gaps.
▪ Assist SM Compliance to draft/develop or revise programs and modules, where applicable:
o ABC Risk Assessments - Conducts annual ABC Risk assessments and develops mitigation plans on high risk operating functions
o CoBE Validation/ Compliance/Assessment Program is to assess the effectiveness of the COBE program.
o Compliance Management System (Regulatory and Legislation and Incidence Management) - Implement a system to monitor compliance of all BU's to Regulatory and

Legislation ( R & L) including a system to monitor, manage and report on incidences (actual or potential breach of R & L)
o Compliance Attestation - Develop a program where Heads of BU's attest to complying to R&L (including anti-bribery laws, PDPA, etc.)
o Compliance Champion Program - Develop a program in an effort to effectively manage resources where BU's have an appointed Compliance representative trained to
manage compliance matters.
o Control Self Assessments (CSAs) - Develop a program where Monitoring and Assurance can be effectively managed and validated through CSAs'

Program Implementation
▪ Implement ISO 37001 Certification and reviews
o Conduct gap analysis of current policies and procedures in place against the requirements of ISO 37001.
o Ensures gaps measures are implemented to ensure the organization is ISO 37001 is ready for certification
o Implement and monitor effectiveness of programs and initiatives as required.
o Conduct annual reviews to ensure ISO requirements are met.

Whistleblowing Policy
▪ Manages the receiving, assessing and managing the response to reports received on the Whistleblowing channels according to the Whistleblowing Management Procedures.
▪ Acts as Whistleblowing Secretariat 2 (Secretariat to Whistleblowing Committee 1)
▪ Prepare Quarterly Reporting to BAC
▪ Provides continuous improvements the end to end Whistleblowing Management process.



At least 10 - 12 years of relevant working experience with 5 - 8 years of working experience in conducting research, developing policy and delivering training programs.


▪ Bachelor・s Degree in Business Administration or related business management field.
