The Role: Strategize, plan and drive the activities and initiatives in the design, development and delivery of integrated HR solutions and services (talent sourcing, talent development and talent engagement) to deliver/accomplish the BU/SU talent and business outcomes.

Sourcing and Recruitment

  • Provide advice and direction in the facilitation of the current and future manpower requirements for the BU/SUs business or operational objectives.
  • Follow-up with Talent Sourcing Unit on the placement, sourcing and/ or recruitment status and update BU/ SU heads.

Development

  • Facilitate the identification of development needs and interventions/ programs with BU/SU heads and line leaders (in collaboration with HR Development Department) to close gaps in Functional and Leadership competencies identified during assessment and/or yearly performance reviews for BU/SU staff.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of appropriate training and development for staff in line with HR-approved individual development plan (IDP).

Career Management & Succession Planning

  • Facilitate and partner with the respective BU/SU Heads and line leaders on staff career management and the identification of staff for promotion and mobility.
  • Facilitate the implementation of appropriate training and development for ready talents in line with agreed Individual Development Plan (IDP) of the identified successors for corporate and business critical positions (in collaboration with HR Development Department).

Performance Management

  • Facilitate and manage the implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS) at the BU/SUs to ensure adherence with the PMS processes by the BU/SU Heads, line supervisors and staff in ensuring that performance planning (IPC setting), mid-year and year-end performance reviews and appraisals, divisional HRPC meetings are conducted in an objective and fair manner.

Employee Engagement

  • Act as the Focal Point for BU/ SU employee engagement, particularly on HR policy communication and implementation, managing conflicts, responding to staff queries and complaints to ensure a harmonious working environment.
  • Co-facilitate HRM initiatives and recommend/ monitor intervention plans

Organization Structure Review / Job Management

  • Co-facilitate with the Organization Development team in the development, review or realignment of the appropriate organization structure for the BU/ SU to meet the business' strategic and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Organization Development team to assist BU/SU in the development/ review of job descriptions (JD) and coordinate job evaluation sessions to enable a fair/ objective grading of the positions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE: 15 years of related working experience.

QUALIFICATION: Bachelor/Master in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
