The Role:
* Develop and maintain a CPM schedule for the FEED Phase
* Earned Value Progress measurement reporting & analysis
* Resource forecasting & levelling where required
* Timely & accurate Fortnightly, Monthly, Quarterly and as-required Schedule Reporting to support the Project's requirements
* Provide assurance to the Lead Planner that there is general compliance of the planning team to planning guidelines - with specific attention to level 3 logic, codes, and interfaces.
* Advise the Planning Lead on all significant trends or non-compliance of level 3 schedules and advise on issues, trends, risks and opportunities.
* Maintain planning guidelines.
* Assist the Lead Planner in development and updating of the Project Master Schedule level 2.
* Provide dedicated planning support to construction and engineer teams as required.
* Produce and coordinate 'what if' scenarios and plans on an as required basis.
* Support the development and maintenance of schedule stewardship process and Progress Reporting and Planning (PRAP) documentation.
* Analyse the scheduling data, prepare and recommend corrective actions necessary to meet the schedule
* Development and/or improvement of procedures, guidelines and work instructions' development to support auditable work process
* Identify and assist with interface coordination between Upstream and Downstream scopes
* Ensure Management of Change (MoC) compliance
* Verification that Progress reporting is accurate
* Verification that correct budgets are utilised for weighting and earned value calculations
* Additional Reporting support as required
* 20% Provides Schedule & Progress Assurance on a monthly basis to the following:
* Integration as required with adjacent Project Controls functions, namely, but not limited to Contracts & Cost Engineering to verify alignment
* Assistance with Value of Work Done (VOWD) to date and forecast to go calculations on as as-required basis
* Participate in the review and improvement process of planning processes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates must have the following levels of experience
* Minimum of 10 years of total experience as a qualified Engineer
* Working on Pre-FEED & FEED projects in the offshore / onshore oil & gas industry.
* Working for a major EPC contracting company or an Operator
* Extensive experience of working with Primavera P6 planning software

It is desirable that candidates have the following additional experience:.
* Experience of working with major onshore LNG projects or offshore platform projects
* Africa or Caspian region experience
