The Role:
Duration: 12+ months (2 years)
Location: Potter Township, Pennsylvania
Schedule: either 5/40 or 9/80

This role is to ensure safe, cost effective, timely, and excellent quality in the execution of the PE3 Unit.

Position description -
* Ensure safe, secure, and efficient construction and testing of the Scope of Work within the PE3 Unit.
* Ensure qualified and competent staff, both client and contractor, are present and providing the right leadership of craft resources within the PE3 Unit.
* Coordinate with material management teams for completion of the free issue material deliveries to the Unit.
* Oversee that the contractors are providing timely sourcing of materials in their scope.
* Provide visible safety leadership within the PE3 Unit.
* Ensure appropriate processes are in place for lifting and rigging within the unit.
* Ensure timely coordination in the scheduling of barges including coordination with the module fabrication teams and site for receipt and setting of the modules that will be coming from Mexico.
* Support contractor and field personnel during construction activities to ensure that excellent construction performance on HSE, quality, cost, efficiency and schedule is achieved in line with project KPI's.
* Monitor HSSE performance of the PE3 Unit.
* Monitor QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with project standards. Raise any inconsistencies with the appropriate QA department and work to identify and implement corrective actions.
* Monitor the work processes to identify and remove barriers to efficient construction and work to implement improvements.

* Fully understand the EP Contracts and how to minimize claims
* Other duties as assigned.

Position description - Special challenges
* The project is a Flagship, with many challenging aspects. The timely and quality delivery of the module program is key to successful delivery of the overall project.
* The position is in Monaca, Pennsylvania .
* Manage and take responsibility for the resident owner's team staff and visitors ensuring safety and security.

* The project organization has been developed using the latest Project Archetypes. The accountability for delivery to cost, schedule and quality rests with the pillar Project Managers but the central construction group is accountable to deliver the construction program.

* SPA level 2.
* 15 years' experience in project management and construction
* Mega project and onshore construction experience preferred (must have, not preferred)
* Ethane Cracker facility construction experience required
* Module installation experience preferred
* Demonstrated track record in construction HSSE leadership
