Having worked on large projects (up to £100m) you will have the right academic and technical background to sit within an array of commercial roles within a major project. In this role however you will be charged with the management of an extensive and complex supply chain, delivering some of the key projects underway in the UK today; with a particular focus on power.

The subcontracts associated with these large projects will require you to be in the detail; from working with tendering to prepare the scope and select suitable subcontractors in the first instance, through to effective contract award in line with budget, scope, timescales and the management of the overall delivery of each through to final accounts.

There is a lot more to this role including the development of subcontracts, compliance with contractual terms and pricing, risk management, negotiation and resolution of contractual for example, which we can discuss further upon expression of interest.

What are the projects and types of subcontracts under consideration?
Much of the work delivered by this particular client relates to the power industry with a heavy weighting, in terms of subcontracts, towards civils packages, though an appreciation of both electrical and mechanical work packages will be important.


This is a permanent role based predominantly out of Staffordshire though there will be an element of travel, as would be expected, to visit sites.
