The Role:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Engineer to specialise in delivering products, systems, service and software solutions as part of its comprehensive power & automation offering for the grid across the power value chain - serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure customers.

An all-encompassing role involving business development, account management and tendering, you will be based in Dublin targeted with the development and growth of new and key accounts both internally and externally across the HV/MV & Substation market; this role can be directed from home a few days per week if need be.

incredible career prospects. So, what will you be doing?

  • Sells products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets. Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan in cases of potential order shortfalls.
  • Creates added value for the customer and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
  • Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution.
  • Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
  • Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market
  • Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.

Skills / Qualifications:
* Although not essential, experience of or within the MV & HV Substation & Transmission & Distribution market
* Degree or relevant technical qualification preferred
* Knowledge of electrical industry, alongside experience with a sales and customer facing role.
* Creative approach to developing new business
* Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
