The Role:
To deliver and lead site based projects for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of high voltage transformers (132kv - 400kv).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in the power sector who offer excellent training and career progression opportunities - a training plan will be put in place towards becoming a commissioning engineer if this career route is of interest.

The role is a permanent position, home and site based covering the UK but mainly the midlands area. Accommodation and travel costs will be covered.

Responsibilities include:

* To provide a safe working environment for all site employees, mitigate the risks
* To lead a small team of 2/3 technicians
* Ensure ethical behaviour in line with code of conduct
* Manage the environmental risks associated with the business unit.
* Create the environment that allows all employees to develop and succeed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Strong background in the power sector and high voltage transformers (132kv - 400kv)
* Experience managing a small team of engineers

* Strong people skills
* Site ability to carry out testing
* Experience of differing business sectors and industry familiarisation
