The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor who is RICS Chartered, able to carry out the following duties:-
You should have experience working with a Principle/ Main Contractor, with extensive experience in Civil Engineering and Mechanical and Electrical work packages.

Our client is looking for experience/ working knowledge and skill, within the following key items:

* The ability to work independently with the experience and working knowledge to managing several Subcontractor accounts in either Civil Engineering or Mechanical and Electrical installation.
* Monthly evaluation of Subcontractor monthly interim applications for payment and issuance of the associated payment / Payless notices, within a strict timescale as required under the individual Contracts.
* The ability and experience in managing Subcontractor change accounts, including the drafting and issuance of Variations Orders.
* Validation of the Subcontractors Variation submission, by identifying the changes within the Contract documentation, drawings and specification and produce a detailed and comprehensive assessments by applying the rates within the Contract.
* Management of Time and material changes, including the drafting and issuance of FWO/ Site instructions.
* Produce and maintain accurate, and comprehensive cost forecast report and schedules.
* Experience in Procurement and drafting of specialist Mechanical and Electrical Sub-Contract packages.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience using FIDIC and JCT forms of contract.
Relevant qualifications - BSc Quantity Surveying, (Ideal)
Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical work packages
Excellent Communication skill either internally or externally.
Excellent Organisation and filing of project records and Contractual documentation.
Excellent knowledge in working with Microsoft office, Excel, Word and Power point.
7-10 years' experience.
