The Role:
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Contracts Engineer to work in the Analyser and Instrumentation division based from their offices in St Neots, Cambridgeshire/Stonehouse Gloucestershire. You will be working within the Projects Group alongside the Project Bid & Execution Manager and with the Technical Manager.

You will be responsible for the CGA Analyser selection and design for quotation and proposals generation initially, developing over time into Instrumentation bids and projects.
At the bid stage activities will be geared towards securing the business with interaction with External Sales and Account Managers and client clarification requests and meetings.
Post order, you will be responsible for documentation control and project management - To time, scope and cost to clients requirements and also being the point of contact with the customer/client.
The balance between quoting and post order management will be per the business requirements.

Our client will work with you to provide the necessary training and develop for you to gain experience to be able complete the duties to a high standard.
As a client they have many training programs available, which will include Technical, Sales and Project aspects.

You will be working on real projects, therefore wherever you are working you will be contributing from your first day, enabling you to demonstrate your skills, abilities, motivation and commitment, allowing you to make a positive contribution to the business.


Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or appropriate Engineering/Science field.
You will be a self motivated, proactive professional, keen to deliver on projects and build upon existing skills.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Aiming for a Professional Accreditation
Any experience of Sales within a Chemical/Engineering environment
