The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Assurance Advisor to join a leading global oil and gas operator. The primary focus of this position will be to assist the business in moving into a more mature operating mode, the main objective will be to ensure consistent and quality delivery of self-assurance by internal practitioners. The position will develop and document key protocols, guides and processes, aligning with the company assurance manual, along with project, operational and HSSE management frameworks. These products will be presented through an online SharePoint platform, with process documentation utilising Microsoft Visio and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standard.

The role will also assist in the development of audience-specific material to communicate the key changes to the internal assurance community, the broader company organisation and other internal stakeholders.

Key accountabilities will include but not be limited to:
* Authoring local internal auditing methodologies and protocols.
* Development and documentation of asset-specific self-assessment checklists from existing global HSSE assurance protocols
* Assist in the design and document a structured assurance planning methodology and tool-set.
* Documenting assurance 'How To' guides and process maps utilising Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
* Assisting the Assurance Lead in the organisational communication of the assurance processes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum 3+ years general auditing, project assurance, or HSSE auditing experience required.
* Experience in design of medium-sized business assurance framework(s) advantageous
* Formal qualification in auditing or similar.
* High proficient in written English and grammar
* High degree of computer literacy and Microsoft Office application suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
* Knowledge of the BPMN standard
* Attention to detail
* Well-developed communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Oil & Gas industry experience highly desirable
* Proficiency in SharePoint desirable but not essential
