The Role:
* Support Subsurface & Wells Applications and Data Consultant in delivering Subsurface & Wells Data Management services to business users within agreed service level agreement.
* Prioritize, coordinate and manage users' service request.
* Comply to data management practices in accordance to company's standards, policies and procedures.
* Assist to promote good data management practices to business users.
* Fulfil requests to load/export/transfer data through company's corporate repositories and technical applications in the subsurface and wells domain.
* Assist on the resolution of incidents related to company's corporate repositories technology stack.
* Actively participate and contribute to company and team's initiative (meetings, team event, Safety Day, etc).
* Comply to company's HSSE rules, 12 Life Saving Rules, Goal Zero and other policies.


2) Responsibilities

* Assist Subsurface & Wells TDM team with administrative task on other related subsurface & wells data management services activities.
* Assist Subsurface & Wells TDM team to load and catalogue data into corporate data repository.
* Create/maintain new/existing projects in Petrel and other subsurface applications if necessary.
* Load and QC projects/corporate data from business.
* Ensure data received from users are complete and accurate, including supporting documents received.
* Liaise with users/support team to resolve issues with regards to data/applications/disk storage.
* Ensure projects/corporate data are properly archived with full compliance to company's standards, policies and procedures.
* Export data from corporate databases whenever required (Keystone solution - Seabed, ProSource, Recall and Petrel Studio).
* Manage data integration amongst corporate repositories through InnerLogix.
* Restore projects data as and when required.
* Help to ensure data received from users are complete and accurate, including supporting documents received.
* Liaise with users to resolve issues with regards to data.
* Ensure subsurface & wells data are properly archived with full compliance to company's standards, policies and procedures.
* Participate in system/data testing/data migration as and when required.
* Provide reports as and when required (e.g. data quality reports).


3) Special Challenges/Profile/Experience

* Experience in managing data in Corporate/Project data stores.
* Experience with the data management applications:
o ProSource Wells
o ProSource Seismic
o InnerLogix
o Petrel Studio
o Recall
o SharePoint

* Experience with subsurface and wells applications:
o Petrel G&G / RE
o Techlog
o ODM
o Gravitas

* Working knowledge in Data Management, Project & Data Archiving.
* Proven experience with Well header, Well logs and Seismic data loading, transfer and conversion.
* Good understanding in subsurface & wells data management services.
* Working knowledge in operating workstations with Linux/Unix operating system and Oracle database; and strong MS Windows and MS Office computing skills.
* Domain knowledge in subsurface & wells disciplines.
* Self-motivated and willing to share/learn knowledge with/from colleagues.
* Able to work with structured and organised manner and minimum supervision.
* Good communication & networking skills with good command of English (oral & writing).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree in geology / geophysics / petrophysics / petroleum engineering or computer science with at least 3 years of working experience in subsurface & wells data management area.
* Proven experience in the oil & gas industry.
