The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Document Controller to provide support in controlling released documentation and data to support all business functions and administering documentation and data transactions, including utilisation and maintenance of supporting tools used. This is a site based role, on a 15 days on, 6 days off rotation.

Reporting to the Site Lead Document Controller, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Work as part of the Document Control team to act as a focal point for all controlled documents and identify gaps in documentation against Company standards
* Allocate Document Numbers in accordance with processes
* Input accurate DDC Data into the DMS
* Develop, maintain and communicate DDC processes to the group and ensure that the DMS interfaces effectively with other group systems
* Compile document packages as required
* Assist with audits of internal and contractor document control procedures processes
* Actively promote leading practice in DDC amongst throughout the group and develop and maintain the asset Management of Change procedures
* Issue regular updated reports to relevant staff as per the DDC Plan
* Issue reports as required and where necessary follow up with relevant parties
* Back up for correspondence control when required
* Input work requests and return transmittals where necessary

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in operating a robust document & data control system
* Demonstrated experience in utilization of document & data control processes and procedures
* Demonstrated expertise in working with/administering a Document Management System
* Demonstrated experience in commitment to safety
* Tertiary qualifications, trade qualifications, or relevant experience pertaining to Document Management and Data Control systems
* High level interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience of project system interfaces and information flows
* Ability to collaborate across business units to provide a Document and Data Control system model that ensures a high degree of commonality and interface across the Asset
