The Role:
An opportunity has become available for an experienced E&I Field Engineer to join our client's team based in Chinchilla. The position is DIDO on a 2/2 roster.

Key accountabilities may include but not be limited to:

* Providing continuous improvement of construction contractors to deliver and improve on the budget and schedule
* Management, tracking and oversight of deliverables and schedule to ensure they are delivered safely, on-time and to specification
* Review design packages / job packs to ensure that they are optimised and take due account of constructability issues
* Assist Field engineering & completions with maintenance of accurate records (as-built mark-ups, punch lists, etc.)
* Work directly with home office engineering team to conduct GIS surveys and design site run gathering routings in the field
* Assist Field Engineering surveys and prepare detailed field sketches / reports / calculations
* Carry out inspections and verifications in accordance with the approved Inspection & Test Plans
* Take an active role in auditing and verifying Contractor compliance with the Contract and Company standards and procedures
* Provide Input into technical and progress reports to support flow of key information to management in order to assist with decision making
* Management of Key site based deliverables of Well sites & Gathering
* Liaison between all external stakeholders including Operations, Community, HSSE, Engineering and Construction
* Demonstrate commitment to excellent HSSE performance in support of the Project Manager's accountabilities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Operations & Projects experience in the Oil & Gas industry (CSG experience advantageous)
* Successfully completed relevant and recognised development programme and/or gained exposure to 2-3 different technical environments (projects/operations/funnel stages)
* Experience with Permit to Work (PTW) systems
* Educated in technical or engineering discipline at tertiary level
