The Role:
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Materials Coordinator to join their team on a 12 month contract. In this role you will be responsible for controlling materials to ensure the safe & efficient delivery of campaigns in accordance with work processes and standards within Upstream operations. The role will be based in the Surat Basin, QLD, working Monday to Friday or an agreed roster.
The key areas for delivering the role are:
Receiving and dispatching of supplied materials per the schedule, ensuring compliance with chain of responsibility & national transport standards
Inventory tracking and reporting
Visual inspection & verification of materials
Receipt and administration of documentation for material traceability
Supporting with requisitions to support maintenance execution
Ensure efficient layout of materials and equipment within the assigned laydown

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive previous experience as a Materials Controller
Current forklift license (LF)
Current driver's license
Rigging/dogging license
High Risk Work (HRW) license
Experience with operating truck mounted cranes (HIAB etc.)
Ability to identify structural, mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation materials
Proactive and visible HSE leadership, demonstrating commitment to safety through language, behaviour and actions
Excellent problem solving, collaboration, communication, interpersonal, client-service, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
Experience in utilising a Computerised Maintenance Management System (Maximo)
