The Role:
Contribute in the field of Reservoir Engineering within a multi-functional team as part of an Operated CSG producing Asset. The role is within the Development Planning and Hydrocarbon Maturation (DP & HCM) team.
1. Apply reservoir engineering skills to support technical studies and delivery of production forecasts for a range of new development and brownfield projects.
2. Deliver production forecasts for Australia's East Coast assets. Ensure all business assumptions are incorporated into forecasting schedules and development plans.
3. Work closely with internal stakeholders including IRM, Concept Engineering, Economics, FEDM, Production, Operations to ensure the short/medium term vision is aligned with the long-term expectations and external stakeholders including government and RAR to ensure compliance and reporting.
4. Incorporate knowledge of Development and Portfolio Planning through generation of integrated schedule, cost estimates, and documentation of development plans in internal and external reports.

The role is within the Development Planning and Hydrocarbon Maturation (DP & HCM) team, where you will work alongside Reservoir Engineers and Development Planners. The asset currently operates approximately 3000 CSG wells with associated upstream and midstream facilities. The asset currently produces > 1.5 bcf/d and provides feedstock to the facility as well as the domestic market. Future project delivery includes up to 1200 wells with associated facilities in the next four years along with ongoing brownfield optimisation projects. Shell also has considerable equity in NOV projects that require governance, business planning and reserves support through the DP & HCM team.
