The Role:
- Daily interaction with contractors executing mixed compensation for attest, contractual and administrative items.
- Execute portions of site's controls plan for mixed compensation.
- track, review and attest contractor force reports, switches, manpower reports
- compare reports to contractor billing
- ensure "method of measurement" compliance to contract
- Attest, using field measurement per the contract, scaffolding and insulation job completions and billing.
- Provide feedback for development and updates to site controls plan.
- Provide feedback to PSD and Contracts Admin for recommended changes or improvements to contract.
- Prepare stewardship of Key Performance Indicators and controls performance.
- Participate in periodic field studies (eg. Time on Tools)
- Share knowledge and experience with site business units (mtc/TA/projects) and across sites (NAN/SCO).
- Maintain well-organized and documented files for controls, attests, and use in contract development and improvement.

The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing oil sands mega-projects in Alberta.This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with contracts and business controls is required.
- Knowledge of scaffolding and insulation material and field work is required.
- Strong data analyis and interpretation skills. Strength in mathematics is required.
- Must be able to work independently in the field
- Must be able to communicate effectively with workers and management.
