The Role:
Overview:
The Facilities Field Office Lead function is housed within the Facilities & Leasing organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with the prioritizing and problem-solving construction-related issues, maintenance oversight and project management of projects within Marathon field office locations in the U.S. The individual must possess strong communication skills, be able to work collaboratively as a key team member, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Serves as a proactive liaison between field office teams, O&M contractors and various management teams.
* Able to perform project manager role on projects including the preparation of project schedules and budget updates to clients and management as required.
* Complete condition assessment reports for each field office to identify critical issues and potential improvements.
* Oversight of the O&M contractors and vendors.
* Review and document approval of site safety plan/program.
* Reviews work orders, prioritizes and delegates to the appropriate subcontractors.
* Review of work progress for accuracy and schedule compliance.
* Assists in preparing budget proposals and estimates and presents to internal clients.
* Maintains current knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, Marathon standards, and preferred maintenance and construction methods.
* Coordinates contracts and job orders with Global Supply Chain and ensures MSA compliance.
* Manages the review process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications and change orders and coordinates with Facilities Manager for overall tracking and reconciliations.
* Identifies ways to enhance value of the department and able to present ideas, opportunities and solutions to management in an effective manner.
* Creates alignment between field offices and facilitates standardization.

Qualifications:

* Experience working for a facilities operations and maintenance firm or general contractor on construction sites preferred.
* OSHA 30 certification preferred.
* Minimum 5+ years related experience and/or training.
* Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
* Competent in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering blueprints.
* Works equally well collectively as a key team member and independently with minimal oversight.
* Exceptional at building client relationships and excellent communication skills
* Frequent travel to field office locations within the U.S. required.
