The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced candidate who has Electro/Mechanical experience - preferably in the Marine/Ports industry. The position will be home based, 50/60% of the time travelling to clients and when required to the main office in Aberdeen. 80% of the role with be servicing clients and 20% sales.

You will have the following experience:-

* To be commercially aware, providing commercial assistance to all stakeholders.
* To manage time effectively in order to ensure customers' expectations are met or exceeded.
* Timely resolution of issues and effective customer communication
* Marine & Ports experience
* Marketing - Coordinates the use of internal or external resources (e.g. technical, advertising, and marketing) in order to provide value added services to accounts.
* Market activity - Monitors competitors' activity with each account
* Seeks Business development opportunities for the UK & Ireland
* Account strategies - Participates in the development of sales strategies for accounts by providing the customer's current business and long-term plans.
* Sales targets - Defines and proposes sales targets and growth margins for the account and ensures their achievement with a structured follow up process.
* Account plan - Leads the development and implementation of the account plan to include designing the executive relationship strategy, prioritising the opportunities, identifying a target for each solution element.
* Customer relations - Establishes and develops account relationships based on a defined strategy. Acts as focal point for problem resolution and monitors customer claims. Plans, facilitates and conducts customer negotiations.
* Customer knowledge - Develops, maintains and shares detailed knowledge of the customer's business strategy, purchasing behaviour, organisation, decision-makers, customer business d rivers, economic trends, and competition.
* Volume and profit - Sells products/solutions/services to customers
* Sales - Creates added value for the customer
* Travel - Flexible to travel around the UK & Ireland at short notice and occasional trips overseas

Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Network with existing and new clients at all levels within the customer organisation
* Results and process driven to completion
* Accurate and efficient work ethic
* Experience of handling numerous activities simultaneously
* Ability to work under pressure and take the initiative.
* Office 365 & SharePoint

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
CRM Tools) SalesForce experience
