The Role:
We are looking for an experience European Sales Manager to lead, coach and develop the European sales team to win new business and retain clients by leading the enterprise software sales strategy with a target beyond 50 Million($). Backed by a global company employing over 140,000 people, you'll be leading the development of the only industrial enterprise software solution with a combined IT and OT

offering on the market. Regular travel to Woking is required, but this role can be directed from anywhere in the UK. You will be remunerated with a fantastic basic salary + 20-25% bonus, 10% pension, car allowance and the chance to work for a multi-billion (£) company with incredible career prospects.

Sales strategy
* Create, plan and implement sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives. Plan net new customer acquisition including strategies to explore and open whitespace.
* Articulate our competitive advantage and understand our competition to help your team effectively position solutions against them.
* Formulate a cohesive partnering strategy, working closely with your channel and alliance manager to drive best in class efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.

Sales target achievement
* Achieve sales targets, respecting budgets and sales efficiency. Foster your team's sales success through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
* Support your team's development of strong relationships with key customers. Encourage all accounts to become references.
* Ensure the sales team utilises the full capabilities of the partner community.

Information sharing
* Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions to accomplish goals.
* Monitor and provide reports to the Marketing and Sales organisation on market intelligence.
* Support and promote marketing efforts and events in your territory.

Volume, profit and cost
* Achieve software products and services sales volume through appropriate price and margin for sales.
* Review and manage risk.
* When needed, participate on negotiations of key contracts. Manage ongoing costs.

Sales process
* Take ownership of the sales process, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs.
* Ensure your team follows sales discipline with our CRM system by maintaining accurate customer and pipeline information.
* Follow a controlled approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline and support forecasting efforts.
* Keep pipeline current and moving up the pipeline curve.

People leadership and development
* Engage the sales team to a best practice approach, driving continued improvements around process, people development, systems and behaviours across the organisation. Ensure (with HR support) that your area of responsibility is properly organised, staffed, skilled and directed. Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Drive knowledge-sharing and cross-collaboration

The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* 8+ years of B2B complex enterprise software sales experience in Europe, handling seven figure deals
* 5+ years of experience in sales management / leadership, including leading remote teams
* Demonstrable experience with new business SaaS sales alongside traditional licence models
* 'C'-suite relationship sales skills
* Value sell mentality
* Strong operational and analytical abilities
* Proven success working within a highly matrixed organisation and establishing strong relationships across all functions
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and the ability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations (English language proficiency required).

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of another European language is an asset.
