The Role:
Provide financial and controlling expertise by compiling and analysing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance. Reporting to the UK Controller. As the Service develops over the next 12 months, this role will also develop, to deliver appropriate scope & with appropriate reporting lines

Main Accountabilities

1. Business Analysis
Perform analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast and proposes improvement actions. Performs benchmarking of key performance indicators with external and internal peers. Work with other finance professionals in Business Unit / HUB Countries / Functions to understand and analyse the drivers of financial performance and identify trends. Prepares financial modelling for various "what if" scenarios and the overall impact to the business unit.

2. Financial Reporting
Supports preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting. Validates accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.

3. Information and communication
Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.

4. Optimisation
Optimises own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.

5. Internal control and documentation
Ensures processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and unit requirements. Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
* Revenue recognition under IFRS / US GAAP
* Advanced excel skills essential
* Experience of working in professional services environment
* Experience of working in organization with multiple locations, including branch offices
* Time Management - deadline driven
* Presentation & communication (written & verbal) skills
