Our Client are a leader in the offering of engineering, technology and digital solutions to a global customer-base. They have a history of innovation spanning over 100 years, which has allowed them to currently employ over 140,000 people in over 100 countries around the world.

Due to a recent and high-profile acquisition, this area of the business are now seeking to establish a centralised HR Hub at their Staffordshire site, which will be critical to supporting them as they continue to offer market-leading solutions to its clients across the global power transmission and distribution industry.

The Role

As a HR Administrator, you will be a key-member of the newly established team in supporting the wider business across all Global HR activities. This will include the following:

  • Deliver assigned HR services in compliance with all operating procedures and to the defined Service Level Agreements.
  • Support the wider HR community, managers and employees with all operating policies with a "best in class" customer-service and pro-active mind-set.
  • Conduct HR & Payroll administration processes, whilst coordinating all on-boarding and off-boarding of employees alongside completion of relevant HR activities across the business.
  • Communicate progress updates and information within the HR team and to customers/stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement enhancements of existing processes and procedures whilst demonstrating a continuous improvement mind-set.

What's required?

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months experience within a HR capacity, with knowledge of all coordination and relevant administrative tasks.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with the confidence to communicate across internal stakeholders of all levels.
  • Good knowledge of Payroll, on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
