The Role:
Reporting into the Global Business Development Manager; you will be responsible for performing market research and providing insights regarding the market, trends, competitors and the potential to expand into new and existing industries. You will also be tasked with driving forward and improving on marketing material to support global sales teams and improve on the already outstanding reputation of the business.

This will include:

* Participates with the business development team to contribute to the definition of strategic account plans through performing detailed accounts and market research.
* Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new Information.
* Manage email and social media marketing campaigns and coordinate activities related to major industry conferences and events (abstract deadlines, reserving speaking spots, etc)
* Prepares analyses of internal sales, technical and financial data, and external market data. Interprets resulting data and makes recommendations to Global Business Development Manager.
* Conduct customer research (online/phone surveys, focus groups, etc.), Collect market information through a variety of sources and extrapolate market trends and patterns from data analysis and suggests opportunities.
* Develop engaging online and offline content including videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyse content success while also developing customized PowerPoint, brochures, and related marketing material that communicates captured insights and business value proposition effectively to internal and external customers.
* Design presentations for sales events and customers meetings using company branding guidelines, create original graphic content for slides for a wide variety of audiences and attend meetings with stakeholders to find graphical solutions to complex problems

Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide.

The roles sits within a team that provides technical advice and consultancy services to the global power generation market.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
* Proven track-record of working with a similar role in the Power or Energy market
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability work independently and generate new and innovative solutions
* Excellent communication skills and a keen interest in engineering marketing.
