The Role:
This is a hands-on procurement role, where you will tasked with driving and developing the indirect commodity side of the business to ensure smooth and successful day-to-day operations are maintained.
This will include a number of commodities from facilities to IT software/hardware and temporary labour, ensuring the local needs of the business are met but also that these adhere to global terms and conditions as part of the internal procurement strategy.
You will engage directly with suppliers to ensure successful delivery of such services, alongside the following tasks:
* Consolidate local requirements and provide local benchmarks on demand
* Implement category strategies locally in close alignment with the regional/global Category leader
* On-board and de-source suppliers according to the sourcing strategies and ensures that procurement system are updated in a timely manner
* Run local sourcing initiatives if agreed on by the respective category lead and/or SCM Business Partner
* Provide local supplier long list
* Provide country specific requirements and demand patterns relevant for an RFQ process
* Create local contract amendments to frame agreements
* Support RFQ process on demand
* Run regular review meeting with local suppliers as defined by respective category leader
* Solve day-to-day cost/quality/scheduling issues with suppliers as defined by respective category leader
* Ensures that local regulatory guidelines are enforced and adhered to
* Supports steering of spend volume to preferred suppliers
* Actively for Indirect Materials & Services and Transport Trade & Logistics and passive

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a proven track-record in implementing and driving successful indirect service and commodity procurement processes, with experience of supporting a local business as part of a global organisation across a variety of commodities and services including IT, Facilities, Recruitment & Services.
* Higher degree in related area
* Superior English in spoken and written beside the local language
* Track record of minimum 5 years' experience in Sourcing
* Good understand of local regulatory guidelines
* Good understanding of local business
* Solid understanding of contract management
* Project Management experience
Coupled with the above, you will also have strong negotiation skills with the ability to understand the want and needs of the business and how to ensure the procured services deliver against this demand.
