The Role:
Our client are looking for an experienced Product Specialist to join their team in Nottingham.

Using your previous experience, you will be supporting the whole product life cycle including development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability.

You will be required to support the development process from the product or service specification, to the product or service launch. This would include assisting the marketing team to help them understand the product/service in order to assist in the launching and selling of the new product.

Customer satisfaction will be a large part of this role, and collaboration with internal teams such as Manufacturing, R&D and Supply Chain will be pivotal in achieving this. This will also include the resolution of customer product/ service issues and may accompany internal partners to customer sites.

Another part of the role will be to determine sales targets for the product/service, and to help implement the marketing plans in order to reach the targets.

There is also a large project management to this role which include:
* Assignments in the product responsibilities
* Coordinate actions between different functions such product management, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, marcom and marketing to ensure projects are delivered within the time frame established

Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Project management proven experience in a multi-discipline environment.
* Technical savvy capable of reading, interpreting and understanding technical, engineering and other industrial terminology

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in product management or with product managers, coordinating life cycle management, product design requirements, planning projects, production, tooling execution in order to launch a product to the market.
* Knowledge in injection moulding, plastic extrusion
