The Role:
Lead the execution of medium-size logistic automation projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. Manage project-related documentation to ensure effective version control, customer document transmissions, according to contractual agreements and the effective status tracking for all project documents, claims information and lessons learned from the project.

Responsibilities:
* Main point of contact for customers during project execution
* Manages project team of ABB and sub-contractor personnel
* Liaises with Sales for project takeover and Service organization for project handover
* Reports to PG Manager
* Deliver all project related contractual commitments in full, on time, within budget every time.
* Adhere to ensure compliance of all ABB policies, quality standards and HSE requirements.
* Motivate and inspire the project team
* Lead the project team to successfully meet targets
* Manage projects throughout their full life cycle
* Travel to site 2/3 times per week
* Visit international clients on a monthly basis

Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Experienced project manager with 5 - 10 years of track record of leading complex technical/engineering projects
* Strong facilitator, negotiator and motivator
* Self-reliant and able to make decisions under pressure
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Presentable and able to interface with customers at all levels
* Creative thinker and problem solver
* Safe and ethical leadership attitude

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Engineering background
* Recognised PM certification
* Good knowledge of PM & planning tools
