The Role:
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Provide an efficient and effective Project Planning Service for PGGI EPC Projects. Ensuring focus and interface management of all site related activities. Reporting in to the Project Manager Offshore and Site Managers based at site. Ensuring planning and coordination of all site activities and interfaces to delivery works to required timescales. Management of site interfaces and stakeholders with Site Manager and site based contractors.

Efficiently manage the planning processes to meet project objectives including providing information, guidance and support on programme matters to the project teams·
Ensure effective planning is carried out for Project timescales at site including production of Progress/Programme Reports, Construction/Tender programmes, weekly look-ahead programmes and Management of the critical path
· Ensure a robust adherence to procedure whilst looking for continuous improvement.
· Ensure programme construction with correct logic and sequencing to meeting contract requirements and constraints
· Ensure robust programme change control is exercised and able to produce programmes to demonstrate the impact of change.
· To be aware of and maintain an understanding of the contract documents, codes of practice, standards and specifications
· Provide consistent and proactive programme reporting at project, delivery team and business level
o addressing key interfaces and out turn projections for site activities
· Maintain key resource capacity information at all times.
· Ensure effective programme support is provided for all variations
· Committed to anticipating and seeking out customer needs both internally and externally;
Seeks and achieves an appreciation of customer's needs
· Understand the financial implications of the methods and sequences of construction that are proposed and planned. Maintain appropriate records on the project
· Able to analyse and advice advise project teams on programme risk.
· Manage all Key Interfaces at site level
· Able to undertake Time Impact Analysis to support and defend claims.
· Ability to review and propose programme recovery strategy

Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* HNC level (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline - Electrical or Mechanical.
* Expert level on Primavera P
* P6 Admin experience
* Working knowledge of CDM.
* Demonstrable knowledge/experience of successful project delivery of complex projects with multiple interfaces
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
* Comfortable interacting with all levels of management
* Self Motivated, shows autonomy in their work
* 5+ years planning experience on multi disciple projects
* Ability to clearly communicate project objectives to the team to ensure clarity of direction, to ensure all parties are clear on priorities and that critical activities are achieved
* Knowledge of HV Substations
