The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced professional QA/QC Manager is the main interface with the Client for all Quality Control and Assurance matters associated to the Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecoms Systems

The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager will report to the Project Management team and is accountable to the Oil, Gas and Chemical Systems QA Management.

The role is responsible for the implementation of the QA/QC Culture and behaviours in the Project.

In addition, the QA/QC Manager will undertake the necessary interfaces on site with the Client and Sub-Vendors, QA/QC Representatives for Quality Control and Assurance matters and be the focal point for QA/QC activities during all Project phases but particularly on site.

Main Accountabilities :

Scheduling, planning and organisation of the Project Quality Audits (including SUBCONTRACTOR audits)
Review the job specific quality documentation prior to the works and highlight any issues. High Critical SUBCONTRACTORS will be subjected to regular audits
Review Key SUBCONTRACTOR inspection and test plans/quality control plans. Where required incorporate relevant Surveillance and inspection points into the Contractors Surveillance Plan and ensure the requisite inspections are carried out
To coordinate the activities of Inspectors and review the results
Manage and co-ordinate the use of a Third-Party Inspection Authority (TPA) for EITS scope
The QA/QC will ensure the collecting of the final documentation to be handed over to the COMPANY both during the construction phase and commissioning phase
Ensure the correct management of the inspection, measuring and test equipment/ welding activities and special processes in line with contract requirements
Providing support to the Project Team in matters relating to Quality including Training on Quality Assurance issues
Provide information to be included in to the dedicated Project review process, which acts as the Project Management Review
Act as a point of contact with various parties on quality issues
The QA/QC will communicate QA/QC matters (using numerous mediums), making recommendations and / or issue instructions
Signing of Concession Requests prior to submission to the COMPANY for approval
Signing of Contract Deviation Requests prior to the submission to the COMPANY for approval

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A formal internationally recognised qualification in Quality Assurance and Control
Experience of working on large Oil and Gas Industry Projects
Excellent communication skills through all levels of the project organisation
Highly motivated and passionate about Project QA / QC
