The Role:
Do you have a good knowledge of control systems, a keen interested in automation and an appetite for sales? With massive potentially to progress, this could be your chance to join a rapidly developing team with an established global leader in industrial automation. Working on bespoke projects to a variety of industries such as pharmaceutical, utilities and food & beverage, this is a great opportunity for a proactive Account Manager to develop the business to the next level.

Targets: Responsible for achieving key targets (e.g. volume, price, and mix) for products by proposing target accounts and ensures their achievement with a structured follow up process.
* Sales: Creates added value for the customer by selling embedded ease of use solutions offered through the portfolio. .
* Account Plan: Leads the development and implementation of the account plan to organise the customer activities for integration of products and solutions
* Strategy: Participates in the development of strategy by providing the customer's current and long-term business plans and by scouting new customers and opportunities.
* Customer knowledge: Maintains and shares knowledge of the customer's application, purchasing behaviour, organisation, decision-makers, customer business drivers, economic trends, and competition
* Customer Relations: Manages and develops appropriate relationships with customers and key accounts. Supports customers in adopting the new products and facilitates problem resolution.

Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Recognised Engineering qualification with 3+ years of field sales/technical experience with electrical products
* Strong technical background in Control Systems e.g. PLC/SCADA/DCS
* Strong experience of industrial automation
* Ability to travel up to 3 weeks per month
