The Role:
Covering the South of the UK, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the strategy for increasing Service Sales for a multi-billion (£) company's offering in Power Grid Integration projects. Tasked with developing presence, sales and pipeline in an untapped market, this is a great opportunity to build up your own sales team from scratch, leading and developing the southern account backed by a market leader within the Power Sector.

You will be remunerated with a fantastic package offering car allowance, 15% bonus, 10% pension and other additional benefits. So, what will you be doing?
* Customer: Interact and manage assigned customers and their expectation of the product portfolio. Ensure organisational responsiveness to customer requests.
* Sales Leadership: Owns, manages and drives sales pipeline for PGGI Service, leads capture teams where necessary to ensure targets in line with the sales team strategy manages and develops appropriate relationships with customers and key accounts.
* Growth: Develop new customers and ensure profitable service business in line with growth targets and prioritized initiatives.
* Business opportunities: Strengthen the customer relationship through market intelligence, market communications working with local account management.
* Sales processes: Develop, implement and manage a sales plan to demonstrate the achievement of future sales targets.
* Reporting: Provide customer sales reports as appropriate. Provide monthly forecasts on order volumes and market intelligence as required by the business. Utilise SFDC as a main CRM tool.
* Compliance: Comply with Code of Conduct, Ethics and Corporate governance and ensure compliance with standards.

Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Proven track record in selling industrial service and support contracts.
* Previous experience in technical sectors, ideally Power (T&D), but an electrical knowledge is essential.
* Proven track record in new product launch and new product sales initiatives.
* Electrical qualification, HNC/HND/Degree
* Excellent networking skills
* Ability to succeed in a strong matrix environment
* Strong business acumen
* Hold a Full and Valid Driving License.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Strong experience in the power distribution and automation industry.
