The Role:
This is an extremely varied role that will expose you to multiple divisions within the business including sales, projects and senior management across all levels of seniority.

As Sales Support Specialist, you will offer first-class support to local sales, projects and commercial teams in the preparation of complex tenders and documentation including operation and maintenance manuals, sales order templates and purchase orders.

You will often act as the first point of contact for customer both internally and externally, therefore a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy is of vital importance.

Roles and responsibilities will include the following tasks:

* Supports at the dedicated area a proper implementation and communication of the sales processes, e.g. demand-side budgeting process/control of Sales templates etc.
* Act as key player in the business reference teams, by suggesting improvements to the tools based on own evaluations to achieve simplification and to increase users' acceptance.
* Support for division specific sales documentation, guidelines and updates
* Acts as initial point of contact for enquiries to the business division. Administers incoming queries, providing reports and assistance to managers and staff as required.
* Provides confidential support to individual executives and/or management team members.
* Assist sales and project team with tender preparation and O&Ms.
* Create reports on a weekly basis for all opened/closed opportunities for sales teams.
* Support the quality department with continuous improvement processes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 to 3 years in Administrative role
* Excellent administration skills
* Extremely detail conscious and numerate
* Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills with the ability to prioritise and manage peaks in workload
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with employees in a professional manner, both in person and via telephone, and a strong focus on managing customer relationships
* Ability to remain calm under pressure, handle conflicting priorities and meet deadlines, whilst presenting a positive and professional image
* Excellent Information Technology skills (inc. knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes/Outlook, SAP, Sharepoint
etc.)
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Flexibility is required as there will be a need to visit sites for specific projects or work assignments
