The Role:
As part of Business Unit Power Grid, Grid Integration System Integration (PGGI SI) Accountable for implementing Global Product Group sales and tendering strategies for the Hub and local business; proactively leading, developing and coaching the tendering department & regional tendering center to support profitable growth. Forecast order demand and supply on LPG level and leverage HBU synergies in a sustainable model which ensure an improved & leading competitive model trough the optimization of cost and efficiency improvements. Focusing on customer relationships, developing the market in close coordination with the PGGI UK Market Manager.

* Responsible for reviewing & understanding Global Product Group sales and marketing strategy and creating, planning and implementing within the local sales & tendering organization.
* Support year on year order intake budgeting activities within the LPG & HUB.
* Responsible for achieving assigned order intake, gross margin and related objectives for the LPG.
* Drives evaluation of potential new and existing customers and their needs and leads the team in a proactive sales and tendering approach with a focus on target pricing, innovative solutions and best in class tender submissions.
* Support LPG and HUB marketing and strategic events. Oversees market, competitive analysis and market segment definition activities, ensuring the market is monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools and activities in coordination with PGGI UK Market Manager.
* Develops relationships with key customers and other decision makers to support profitable growth.
* Identify, monitor and maintains/exceeds the sales market price levels, evaluating pricing impact on the results. Ensures achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate contracting strategy, price and margin for individual sales opportunities, working with Hub M & S Manager and PGGI UK Market Manager.
* Monitor client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Responsible for identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels.
* Oversee the marketing and sales processes, including bib / no bid decisions, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs.
* Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Proven capability in developing winning sales and tendering strategies for multi-million pound electrical systems in industrial, renewable and utility sectors.
* Proven ability to manage and motivate multi-disciplined teams.
* Excellent negotiation and communications skills
* Strong commercial acumen
* Minimum HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or other closely related engineering discipline.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* MBA or Equivalent degree
* Practical experience in a similar position or organisation
