The Role:
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering all supply chain objectives across the business in the UK. This will include ensuring on time delivery, cost savings, systems development, stock values alongside leading a team of supply chain specialists. The key objective for the business is to build upon the existing supplier portfolio, whilst looking to identify and explore strategic opportunities to improve all supply-chain operations with a view to improving the overall quality and delivery output of the team.

* The role will involve the coordination of all Supply Chain activities leading to successful sustained and substantial growth.
* Participate in HUB management and reporting and the main function is to provide leadership to the existing team and help support continued growth.
* Leading and influencing change management and transformation along with driving supply chain improvements within an organisation that is undergoing substantial growth.
* Lead key commercial negotiations that suppliers, including terms of payment.
* Develop and manage planning and materials control systems and procedures in order to optimise the manufacturing process in line with manufacturing strategy and logistics requirements.
* Working as a key member of the senior management team in UK and Ireland actively contributing to the development of this team.
* Develop the global end to end supply chain process to support business growth.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree or similar in relevant Engineering or Supply Chain/Purchasing discipline
* Proven track-record of leading a supply chain team within a manufacturing environment
* Experience in developing teams, alongside implement and improving upon supply chain performance
* The ability to implement and influence change within a business, alongside supporting the growth of an organisation
