The Role:
Candidate MUST have: 5+ experience in Pricing/Marketing field, very good communication skills, very good phone-calling skills

Necessary skills:
- analytical thinking
- detail-oriented
- advanced experience with using business tools: Excel Pricing Coordinator will be a key role in the Shell Retail Canada Pricing Team interfacing with several stakeholders to optimize Retail site profitability.

Pricing Coordinator
* Responsible to deliver fuels margin targets as well as district volume targets
* Data analytic reviews to provide recommendations and support strategy and decision making
* Active engagement with key stakeholders providing operational pricing support and reporting
* Collaborate with team and influence tactical pricing solutions Skill Set
* Microsoft Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) advanced experience/knowledge required
* High degree of self-direction * Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Investigative thinking and astute attention to detail while demonstrating ability to think broadly
* Proven commercial mindset
* Data analytics experience
* Strong influencing and coaching skills
* Highly organized and able to manage priorities
* 5+ years professional experience; a strong overall understanding of the retail fuels business is an asset
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines or requisite business experience

Additional Comments
* Role may include weekend and holiday work hours * Role requires accessibility beyond normal business hours
* Day to day duties may change to accommodate business needs
* No direct reports

Additional Job Details:
* Requires a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent with at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
* Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
* Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* Performs a variety of tasks.
* Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Our client is a large Owner/Operator with their Canadian operations based out of Calgary, AB. They are one Canadas largest integrated oil companies focusing on the exploration and production of oil, natural gas and sulphur. Their projects are located throughout Canada focusing on the Oil Sands, as well as Natural Gas extraction throughout Alberta and BC.
