The Role:
The Construction Field Lead will ensure all construction and reclamation activities are completed in a safe and effective manner. The Construction Field Lead will also provide project management support pertaining to schedule, scope of work and commercial impacts.


* Implement and lead daily safety meetings with the Construction Consultants, HSE Advisors and contractor personnel
* Lead nightly progress meetings with Construction Consultants

Safety / Operations:
* Manage incident reporting with input as deemed necessary from the HSE Advisors
* Communicate with Superintendents and Construction & Reclamation Coordinator on a regular basis regarding HSE performance, schedule, construction issues, potential trends, etc.
* Manage and implement emergency response plans when necessary
* Coordinate the onsite medic services as operations dictate
* Maintain morale and teamwork in the project area
* Coordinate the Construction Supervisors in a manner, which will permit the optimization of all construction and reclamation activities
* Plan and coordinate all activities on site being the one window approach for other groups to utilize
* Coordinate field scouting and surveying of all wellsites and associated facilities
* Ensure all construction, cleanup and reclamation activities occur as client and regulatory commitments require
* Coordinate SIMOPS to optimize logistics with drilling, completions and facilities construction
* Manage and coordinate the responsibilities of all other site personnel such as HSE Advisors and Construction Supervisors to ensure the successful completion of the project
* Place and track One Calls on behalf of our group & ensure compliance as ground disturbance activities are conducted
* Manage cost estimates for survey, earthworks, cleanups and reclamation
* Ensure Construction Supervisors properly code and approve all field tickets through daily auditing
* Work with contractor, superintendent, and supply chain on any equipment rate additions that arise through the projects due to changes scope of work.
* Scheduling of equipment & manpower required on site

* Support environmental and regulatory compliance throughout the project area
* Manage aquatics and environmental crews as instructed
* Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance throughout the project area as per conditions in jurisdictional agreements
* Liaise with field agents from government and regulatory bodies as required to ensure project success
* Measure and report monthly the lake elevations
* Auditing TDL volumes on a regular basis to ensure we stay under our allowable limits

* Ensure entering of documentation into Siteview is updated and maintained regularly through daily auditing

Drilling & Completions Support:
* Monitor the Drilling, Completions, Construction and ARO group's schedules and advise on approaching milestones

Systems and Tools:
* Need skill sets to be proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, SiteView and scheduling software. Experience with iPad Apps such as Avenza and GlobalMapper is also an asset.

Location: Focus areas include Surmont and Montney with some execution in Thornbury and Saleski on limited basis
