The Role:
Purpose of the role (function within the organisation):
* Capture business requirements and liaise with business to successfully introduce improvements to processes and systems in use within the company for the wider Human Resources domain. Work with HR and the business to help specify the technologies that will engender greater collaboration across client and wider group. Work with HR and the business to automate paper-based approvals documents to eradicate paper forms with wet signatures.
* Ability to define and shape an improved Business Applications landscape. Ensure that the company keeps up to date with technology to achieve & maintain a leading position within the automotive market especially within the Human Resources domain.

What is expected to be delivered and what action will this require?
* Capture requirements from the HR and the business in support of improved processes and greater employee collaboration.
* Analyse, interpret and document those business requirements
* Define and map the detailed business processes that meet those business requirements
* Work with IT and 3rd Party suppliers and business to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Communicate the benefits of your recommendations to all levels of business and IT
* Define and document the business systems architecture map that supports the business processes including existing technology and outline requirements for any new technology (ie the relationship between existing and any new architecture)
* Specify and cost any new or revised technical solutions.
* Act as project manager for small projects or under PMO for larger projects, to plan and deliver the solution.
* Define and document new and changed roles and / or reporting lines within the areas affected by the new solution(s).
* Support staff affected in making best use of the recommended solution, especially through UAT and Post Go-Live Support phases

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Educated to degree level
* Experience in similar role
* Knowledge of IT department support & development processes
* Knowledge of HR systems. Worked with collaborative tools (eg Sharepoint).
* Fluent English spoken and written
* Advanced PC skills (Office)
* Methodical, Analytical
* Strong analytical skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Prince2 awareness
* BSc Degree or Equivalent
* SME in Human Resource applications
* Experience in defining and automating Approval Workflows (BPM)
* Use of Sharepoint
* Use of MS BI
* Previous KPI reporting
* Development of mobile apps
* Ideally you will have experience working in an Agile or Waterfall environment.
* Experience working in projects related to, or alongside of, SAP is desirable
* A proven ability to collaborate with experts in order to establish the technical vision and analyse the trade-offs between usability and performance needs
