The Role:
My client is looking for a number of CAD design engineers - Electrical.

Here you will work as part of a team focused on delivering a new program of work. This brand has high expectations and is seeking the very best Engineers in the market. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an iconic Company with exceptional history and innovative ideas.

Ideally we are looking to speak with experienced engineers with a sound Automotive OEM background, strong leadership qualities and experience working to tight deadlines.

Deliver design based activities for the EEI functional area, involving integration or component design within new product projects.

Generation of BOM information and providing support to the Project Team in the generation of the Engineering Timing Release Schedule (ETRS).

Occasionally you will be required to work off site, including international travel, where you will represent the business at client visits and presentations.

Understanding of EEI functional design requirements for electrical components and systems

Capability in CATIA V5 essential, TeamCentre preferred

To support EEI team leaders with design package activities and design release

To deliver the technical definition of the EEI Systems to support programme reviews / supplier selection

To deliver engineering designs and release data for the EEI Systems to support prototype and production procurement.

To support development and validation issue investigation and to update released designs in line with project requirement
