The Role:
!Exciting Infotainment opportunity. Combining an iconic automotive brand with future cutting edge in-car technologies!

My client is looking for a Chief Engineer for Connectivity to work on existing and brand new programmes

Manage connectivity domain work, responsible for design and developing the lotus sports vehicle connectivity systems. Work with other partners, automotive player, technology supplier, exist eco system or start-upcompanies in order to set strategy/business model for Lotus connectivity.

As an AI lab is also a part of function within our department, you also need to be taking care of AI related work and introduce AI into project. Plan resources, assignments, department output, and budget. Enhance associate development through mentoring, training plans, goal setting, and performance appraisals.

Work closely with the Director/Head of Infotainment and connectivity, managers and PMO to drive teams.

Managing different teams in your area running in a effective and productive way.

Develop network within digital world and big player.

Work with other partners, automotive players, suppliers, exist eco systemor start-up companies in order to set strategy/business model for connectivity.

Analyse and create project requirements, definitions and processes with project leaders.

Develop project plans and effectively communicate timing and critical paths

Assess needs and take initiative to determine solutions, business model.

Guide and facilitate project objectives.

Facilitate a team environment.

Manage teams, making them accountable and keeping projects on target.

Arrange testing resource and setup.

Observe and measure project performance to determine if the project is hitting the milestones and targets.

Involve respective departments, engineers and suppliers in key decisions to create greater accountability.

Work to eliminate impediments to the project's success.

Work with all departments to ensure that goals of each team are met and expectations are communicated.

Coach and assist teams with their target.

Own the connectivity daily operation.
Coordinate and manage external suppliers and supplier activities related to the projects

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and experience in engineering, product development or project management

Infotainment project management

Project management skills

Team leader skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Software development knowledge

OEM/supplier connectivity project leader or Connectivity project manager or Vehicle function manager or IoT company technical manager, solution manager
