The Role:
Our client is a highly-reputable designer and manufacturer of sports and racing cars. Due to rapid expansion and growth, we are now looking for a DVP Engineer to contribute to developing the cars of the future.

Based on-site in picturesque East England, you will be directly involved with supporting the management, generation and delivery of whole vehicle design validation plan (DVP) for multiple projects.

- Based on inputs from the engineering groups and FMEA's you will develop and manage the DVP. This will include ensuring alignment with the vehicle VTS and ensuring the completion of test actives and reporting tracked in the master DVP.
- Develop new test procedures based on input from the engineering groups and manage the control, release and revision of test procedure required to deliver the DVP.
- Work closely with the test and development team and project plans to deliver the DVP
- Report out the DVP status on a regular basis to meet project and gateway required as part of the new product development systems (NPD S) procedures.

Experience & Knowledge required:
- Knowledge of vehicle level DVP's and the DVP and FMEA process 
- Good knowledge of automotive engineering, development and testing process.
- Experience of managing or supporting vehicle validation programmes
- High level PC skills, especially Excel/VBasic
