The Role:
To provide a high quality IT Service to the business by the effective management and control, of the IT environment and specialist support organisations.



Desktop support:


*PC build

*PC Client deployments

*Support of the hardware/part replacement

*Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)

*Key business application (IFS, AS400, Catia, Smarteam etc)



Additional duties:


*Management of IT Service incidents to resolution

*Technical resolution of IT Service incidents

*Liaison with specialist support organisations

*IT Service management input to new requirements and technologies, for consideration at Lotus

*Technical input for system maintenance and outages

*IT Service Policy and process definition and enforcement

*Implementation of IT Change requests

*Adherence to IT Service processes and procedures

*Adherence to IT Change processes and procedures

*Adherence to IT Security processes and procedures

*Support documentation for BAU take-on

The Company:
Specialises in the design, development and manufacture of classic, sports and race cars.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential

*ITIL v2 awareness
*Professional IT qualification - MCSA, MCITP, MCSE or MCP
*Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 7, XP, 2000) with imaging management and deployment tools (SCCM/SCOM/Ghost)
*Diagnostic tools (BART PE)
*Windows server functionalities (DHCP, DNS, WINS, Print Servers)
*Microsoft Office Suite (2003 onwards)
*Willing to work outside of normal hours, on call, including weekends (regularly at least once a month).

Desirable

*ITIL v3 awareness
*Prince2
*BSc Degree or Equivalent computer studies
*Linux environnent
*Apple iMac devices
*Windows server operating systems (Windows 2003 and 2008)
*Operating system patch management (SCCM/WSUS)
*Hypervisor/Virtualisation installation, configuration and administration (VMware v3.5 onwards)
