The Role:
Our client is a highly prestigious British sports car brand undergoing a positive and exciting transition after experiencing huge financial growth. The successful candidate will aim to provide a high quality IT Service to the business by the effective management and control of the IT environment and specialist support organisations. To provide 1st and 2nd level support of the IT computer network along with associated desktop and server environment with the ability to define and shape an improved IT security landscape to help stabilise and improve the profitability of our clients brand by minimising business disruption from internal and external malicious activities and behaviour, whilst ensuring the protection of the IPR of the organisation.

Main duties:
* Management of IT Service incidents to resolution

* Liaison with specialist support organisations

* IT Service management input to new requirements and technologies, for consideration at our client

* Technical input for system maintenance and outage

* Implementation of IT Change requests

* Adherence to IT Service processes and procedures

* Adherence to IT Change processes and procedures

* Adherence to IT Security processes and procedures

* Support documentation for BAU take-on

* Technical configuration and management of network and security equipment/systems

* Fault Diagnosis and Management of Issues to Resolution

* Network Support, Administration and Monitoring

* Security systems and products Support, Administration and Monitoring

* Technical input to new requirements and technologies, for consideration

* Technical approval for system maintenance and outages

The Company:
specialises in the design, development and manufacture of classic, sports and race cars.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Professional IT Network qualification Cisco CCNA etc
* Network core and edge device configuration, including WiFi APs and controllers
* Network monitoring tools
* Specialist security products; Checkpoint Firewall-1, Juniper SA, Sophos AV
* Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 7, XP, 2000) with imaging management and deployment tools (SCCM/SCOM/Ghost)
* Diagnostic tools (BART PE)
* Windows server functionalities (DHCP, DNS, WINS, Print Servers)
* Microsoft Office Suite (2003 onwards)
* Advanced PC skills (Office)
* Experience supporting medium/large network environment (~6000 ports)
* Willing to work outside of normal hours, including weekends
