The Role:
My client is recruiting for an IT Project Manager to execute and implement key business projects across the company. Projects will vary across the duration of the contract, but experience of implementing The role will be responsible for co-ordinating activities across the project and achieving project milestones. Candidates will be expected to be able to gain a clear understanding of business requirements and design a comprehensive strategy for achieving successful delivery of projects.

Main duties

Project Master Schedule - plan and establish the project scheduling, action plan and tracking

Project Investment / Budget - establish project budget plan and control

Project Quality Management - ensuring the define gateways/milestones or 3rd party requested processes are followed and deliverable requirements are met or 3rd party requested processes

Project Organisation Planning and Cross Functional Team Deployment - establish and review the project organisation chart, scope of works and resources planning

Project Risk Management Report - establish and conduct risk assessment plan, tracking and control / mitigation

Project Performance Report - project status reporting to the management and follow up / follow through of the action plan during the development period

Interact with a broad array of IT and supplier resources to ensure infrastructure decommissioning activities are properly planned, managed and executed to achieve cost savings.

Manage supplier relationships to successfully solve complex technical issues resulting in minimal business impact and increased customer satisfaction.

The position will be based in Norfolk and may require some overseas travel.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BSc Degree or Equivalent computer studies
Professional IT project management qualification
Proven track record of implementing large IT / Business Application projects
Team Leader
Strong leadership skills
Good communications skills with all levels of the business
Significant Project Management and / or general management experience in an IT environment
